We're Here For You

Your Consultation
What to Expect
Your initial consultation typically lasts 30–45 minutes. Here's what will happen during your visit.
01 Booking
Our practice secretary will get in touch with you via email to arrange a suitable time for you. Please let us know if you would prefer a phone call. She will ask for your insurance policy number so we can begin liaising with your insurance company.
02 Discussion
The doctor will discuss your current concerns, medical history, and relevant personal history. This is your time to share openly in a confidential, judgement-free environment. You may receive a questionnaire prior to your appointment – please bring this with you.
03 Examination
A physical examination may be performed. Everything will be explained beforehand, and your comfort and consent are always the priority.
04 Treatment Options
The team will explain any findings and discuss treatment options with you. You'll have time to ask questions before any decisions are made.
05 Next Steps
Any necessary tests, referrals, or follow-up appointments will be arranged. You'll leave with a clear understanding of your care plan.
A Gentle Reminder
Preparing for Your Appointment
You're welcome to bring a support person — a partner, friend, or family member — if it helps you feel more comfortable.
We recommend writing down any questions beforehand so you don't forget to ask them. No question is too small.
Your Comfort Matters
You're in Safe Hands
At NorthCare Gynaecology, your comfort, privacy, and dignity are our highest priorities. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or need to pause, simply let us know.
